Who I Am

I have been blessed to have a good career helping thousands along the way.

After 35 years I still like doing it.

Below are some highlights of the career I am proud to have had (hopefully more to come).

It's not there to tout myself but help you make decisions about who is on your team.

Please look at my history and specialties and consider what I may offer you.

If I look like a fit for you then please contact one of my offices.

Phases of my career

My career has several distinct and defining periods specialization and development. Each portion has had some challenges but contributed to the body of knowledge which I am able to bring to the case while helping those whom I am blessed enough to serve

Physical Therapist

The beginning of my understanding of movement, health care and how to be the person who uses his knowledge to help someone live their best life. So much growth. Settings include, outpatient, hospital and home health

Chiropractor

I went to Chiropractic school to specialize in Neck and Back care. This education and 15 years of private practice developed the foundation of my
knowledge. This time period developed my compassion for those in pain

Educator

From 2009 to 2018 I was blessed to instruct my rehab techniques at Logan College to the Chiropractic students. I loved this time and grew immensely from the experience. There is nothing like having to teach to challenge and solidify skills.

Neuropathy Specialist

This started in 2010 when I joined the staff at Total Health & Rehab. Despite having been a PT for 20 years my skills at treating Neuropathy were pathetic. Since then I feel that this is a strength and has become a joyful specialty.

Stenosis Specialist

Midwest Pain and Spine
a Multi specialty office afforded me a great opportunity to assist
in hundreds of people with stenosis. Caring for this condition is different from sprains and disc issues. It's now my favorite.

Conditions I Specialize In.

Neck and Back Pain

In my first private practice 1996-2010 I specialized in acute Whiplash cases. Acute pain presents different from chronic pain and requires a separate approach. Thousands of cases brought me the experience required to bring relief to those who need it.

Spinal Stenosis

Spinal Stenosis is very different from acute back pain and the same treatments and therapies do not work the same. 7 years of specializing in this condition at Midwest Pain and Spine has elevated my understanding of this condition and formed my comprehensive approach.

Peripheral Neuropathy

Early in my career I was like most Physical Therapists and lacked an effective approach to help those suffering from this condition. In 2009 I learned there are techniques which help and dramatically improves lives of many who need it.

Fall Prevention

During the Home Health Care portion of my career circumstances forced me to develop techniques that are a bit different from most. I needed to create exercises that were more efficient and effective. Thus my confidence in improving nearly anyone's balance problems.
